Visions Under the Moon
Fasten your seat belts, and hang on tight because the David Nelson Band is about to
take you on the ride of your life. This is the band's third album and first
full-length studio effort. In September 1998, DNB and acclaimed record producer
Aaron Hurwitz took up residence at the Aladdin Theater in Portland, Oregon, for
a week-long series of recording sessions that culminated in a memorable live performance.
The recording sessions were captured on tape, and the result is the hallucinogenic
Visions Under the Moon. The album perfectly captures the unique and magical synergy
between band and audience by taking the best aspects of the live performances and
blending them with those of a quality studio production.
Featuring the mind-altering songs: Long Gone Sam, No Sourvenirs,
Fable of a Chosen One, Road to Armageddon, Edge of the Wire, Absolutely Sweet Marie,
Snakebit, Haunted Man, Kerouac, and Visions Under the Moon/Penumbra
